A mainstay on the New York real estate scene, Lisa Maysonet has expanded to the Hamptons after 40 years of success in the city. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise to best serve her vast Rolodex of clients. Here, the realty mogul divulges her go-tos on the East End.
What is your favorite place to exercise or work out? Tracy Anderson’s studio in East Hampton is my go-to when I have the time to take a class. She offers amazing virtual classes.
Where do you like to source healthy food? I love to go farmers market-hopping on the weekends—Saturdays in Westhampton and Sundays in Southampton. They’re where I find the freshest local produce, and it’s an added bonus when you’re able to contribute to your community.
Where do you like to buy workout or athleisure clothing around town? The Shinnecock Hills Golf Club Pro Shop is where I find most of my athleisure attire.
Any other local outdoor activities or sports you enjoy? I’ve always loved horseback riding. Deep Hollow Ranch allows you to ride on the beach, which is where I have had some of my most spiritual and beautiful experiences. East End Stables is also a personal favorite.
What is your favorite local spa and treatment? You can’t beat the view and luxurious atmosphere at the spa at Gurney’s in Montauk.
Do you enjoy meditation, yoga or any other local wellness classes? I enjoy taking my yoga practice outdoors when the weather permits, but Yoga Shanti in Sag Harbor is the perfect place to unwind after a long day. They also offer virtual classes. I try to meditate twice a day; it helps me clear my mind and always leaves me feeling rejuvenated.
Any other Hamptons wellness resources you love? I’ve always found the ocean is the best way to soothe the soul. I’ve recently started stand-up paddleboarding, which is a great workout.
How has your wellness routine evolved or helped you over the past year? Over the past year, I’ve been taking part in virtual yoga and Pilates classes throughout the winter months and a lot of bike riding in the summer to help me stay active.
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Being able to enjoy time with friends and family.
Any exciting listings or other business news? My expansion to the Hamptons is very exciting. I expanded my team to here to help better serve my clients and showcase the beautiful homes that the Hamptons has to offer. I’m very busy in Bridgehampton, Water Mill, Sag Harbor and Quogue.
