On Saturday, August 17th Oceanic Global, Hamptons Magazine, Beach Magazine, Hero Beach Club and Curious Yellow presented Oceanic x Montauk. The interactive event brought together conservationists, artists, surfers, and sustainable brands. The event featured live music, an eco-marketplace, kids activities, a film screening of “Blue the Film” presented by The Petrie Team of Compass Real Estate, a panel discussion with notable speakers such as Lauren Singer (@trashisfortossers), Marcella Cacci (@oneoceanbeauty), Gaelin Rosenwalks (Marine Scientist and Explorer), and Bill Levey (@naeco).
Sustainable solutions from brands such as One Ocean Beauty, The Girl and the Water, Entree Boutique, Naeco, Sea Straws, Alice, and Cup Zero were showcased on-site. Guests enjoyed food by Shagwong Tavern in Montauk, as well as oysters by West Robins Oyster Co. The evening also featured beer from Peroni, Rose from Hampton Water, hard Kombucha from JuneShine, and cocktails by Splash Mixers.
