This season, special occasions and unforgettable moments have never been more meaningful. OMEGA extended a rare invitation to Modern Luxury and noted Manhattan real estate broker Spencer Means for a private tour and collection viewing at the Fifth Avenue boutique.
Means, known for his extensive experience, influential celebrity clientele, and impeccable taste, made him the ideal guest for the VIP visit. During the private tour, OMEGA treated Spencer along with Modern Luxury’s Chairman of the Board John Amato and New York’s Group Publisher Lynn Scotti, to showcase of the limited edition timepieces and engaging conversation on the rich history of OMEGA from its first foray into the Olympic Games, to the famous moon landing and as the timepiece of choice for the uber stylish secret agent, James Bond.
One of Means’ favorite watches was the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, the timepiece that is worn by Daniel Craig in the upcoming new Bond film No Time to Die. “I felt chic and powerful and ready to tackle an armed villain or sell him a townhouse or fabulous apartment.”
The Seamaster Exclusive Boutique New York edition is one of OMEGA’s most limited edition timepieces and is inspired by the architecture of the city.
The next generation of the OMEGA’s Constellation, OMEGA Constellation Gents Collection, incorporates some of the Constellation’s most famous design traits.
The Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary watch is a tribute to the coveted “Silver Snoopy Award” OMEGA received in 1970 from the astronauts at NASA, recognizing the brand’s unique contributions to space exploration as well as the Speedmaster’s vital support during the rescue of Apollo 13.
Means learned about the rich history of the brand from OMEGA’s Senior Public Relations Manager, Giovanni Alegre. “It's amazing that OMEGA has served the Olympic Games for nearly a hundred years and that it's NASA's choice for going to the moon and walking in space. Talk about delivering excellence for demanding customers. In outer space and on the ground, it's a good example for us all!”
Means was able to take from his visit a new appreciation of the OMEGA team and what goes into these works of art and craftsmanship. “I knew the watches were fantastic, but I didn't realize how fantastic the team is behind them. I like knowing I have my own personal Q-Branch behind the sharp tech on my wrist.” For more timepiece celebration and information on OMEGA history, visit the Fifth Avenue flagship boutique and log onto Omega.com.
