Renowned licensed real estate broker Alexis Meadows reveals how she consistently delivers seamless and rewarding experiences to every client, highlights two outstanding recent listings and offers us a glimpse into her summers in the Hamptons.
What is the most rewarding part of working in real estate?
I love what I do—connecting people with properties while enjoying the art of making a deal. I am fortunate to work alongside a supportive team and professionals in the field who share similar values and embrace growth. The most rewarding aspect, though, is being a part of the process in which my clients successfully achieve their real estate aspirations.
What are some notable accomplishments of yours?
First, being recognized as one of the East End’s top performers, ranking in the top 1.5% of all agents nationwide for the last three years, has to be one of my most significant accomplishments yet. Earning my broker’s license and becoming an Accredited Buyer Representative are substantial moments for my career as well—helping grant me the title of ‘the waterfront expert’!
What sets your work apart from other real estate brokers in the industry?
Being an expert is critical to earning trust. I continue to go to great lengths to learn the real estate business and the East End’s unique characteristics. For me, real estate is genuinely about matchmaking. I value listening (to both the spoken and unspoken), observing and getting to know my clients.
What advice can you give to potential buyers?
Partner with an agent you trust. Integrity and transparency are critical when ascertaining a property. Real estate is a fluid, client-centric business where availability, responsiveness and preparation deliver results. Be prepared to step outside your comfort zone, examine options outside your set parameters and allow your agent to guide you. Thus, you will balance becoming a more informed and confident buyer, which can often lead to unexpected results.

How have you been enjoying your summers in the Hamptons?
The Hamptons are so full of life in the summer that narrowing down the array of options is difficult. My top picks are boating to Sag Harbor, sunrise strolls and whale watching in Montauk, observing polo matches, dining alfresco in Southampton and Bridgehampton, and supporting local businesses and fundraising initiatives.
What motivated you to start a career in the real estate industry?
I have always advocated for people, which drew me to the public sector for over two decades. When I set my sights on real estate, I knew I could translate those skills to support my clients in reaching their goals. Buying or selling a home is an intricate endeavor. Without hesitation, I prioritize my clients’ best interests and guide them through a gratifying process.
