Customers are now able to pay with cryptocurrency when buying Alo’s adorable workout sets, swimwear, loungewear and more. Employees are also able to opt for full or partial paychecks to be deposited into their crypto wallets without any transaction fees. 
The announcement makes Alo the first major lifestyle brand to pay employees in cryptocurrency, paving the way for the wellness space to continue moving into Web3. The move comes as no surprise given the success of Alo’s partnership with gaming platform Roblox earlier this year, which infused the metaverse with mindfulness via both digital fashion and a yoga and mediation sanctuary. 
“We always want to be ahead of the curve,” shares Alo Yoga co-founder and CEO Danny Harris. “Activating in the metaverse was that first step for us. Enabling crypto payments takes it even further, introducing a real-world connection to Web3, something we find more and more of our customers are interested in.”
