From art shows with iconic exhibitions from around the globe to music festivals with star-studded lineups, these are the five best summer festivals to attend this season.
This Labor Day weekend, the art event of the season will be taking over the Southampton Art Center. For fine arts connoisseurs and appreciators alike, the fair will celebrate the East End's flourishing art scene and history from September 2 until the 5. The event marks the only international art fair staged in an esteemed art museum and gallery, making it an exclusive, semi-private boutique exhibition not to be missed by Hamptonites. Visitors can expect to find 70 select galleries from across the world, over 400 artists on display with a focus on Black and emerging artists and a wide range of media, from paintings and prints to sculptures and photography. Each day, awardee receptions and panel discussions will take place, with expert-led tours throughout the weekend. September 2 through 5, 25 Jobs Lane
Returning to The Bridgehampton Museum in August, Market Art + Design is bringing 80 top galleries to the East End. Featuring the best of modern and contemporary art and design, the fair will run from August 12 until the 15.
