Camilla debuts its vacay-inspired collection, House of the Sun.
“House of the Sun is a celebration of color, storytelling and the rich tapestry of Egyptian culture,” says CAMILLA (camilla.com) founder and creative director Camilla Franks of the brand’s recent release. “With this collection, we invite wearers to embark on a journey of discovery and wonder, where every piece tells a story, and every print is a work of art.” A nod to Franks’ travels through Egypt, each piece effortlessly fuses intricate prints with vibrant colors in an array of striking silhouettes and styles—from kaftans and denim (a first-ever for the brand) to swimwear, ready-to-wear and more. “For these prints, we sought inspiration from every corner: from the skyscrapers of Cairo to the Valley of the Kings. We visited tombs, temples, palaces, villages, markets and catacombs, soaking up all the richness.” The best part yet? The collection comes to life on the East End’s shores, with a dazzling campaign shoot starring our favorite local faces like Kelly Bensimon, Brooks Nader, Martha Hunt, Lexi Wood and more.
