Meet the NorthFork's newest hot spot, Duryea's at Orient.
Duryea's at Orient's succulent grilled lobster.
It's a scene: Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful people lounging. Rosé flowing from the full bar. All with water views—of course. At last Montauk favorite Duryea's Lobster Bar presents its encore, Duryea's at Orient, housed in the former Orient by the Sea on the North Fork. "Duryea's has become part of the restaurant landscape in the Hamptons," says Director of Operations Steven Jauffrineau. "Our fun service style is also different and refreshing, bringing something new to the North Fork." On the menu, expect the same commitment to fresh seafood and local produce as the original, but with a Mediterranean spin. "We were inspired by Orient's pure and laid-back energy—somewhat similar to what we felt on some of the Greek islands during the off-season," says Jauffrineau. "We'll tap into the energy with some traditional Greek cooking techniques and dishes." But don't fear: When this resto opens for the season, signatures such as the lobster Cobb salad, lobster roll, fresh crudités and a raw bar will remain. 40200 Main Road, duryeaop.com
