It takes a strong personality to carry off a strong look, so Dolce & Gabbana hired Jennifer Lopez and David Gandy to show off its latest, elevated eyewear.
Lopez is a figure who needs no introduction. An internationally-recognized pop-star and actress, she’s got the larger-than-life aura to fill a Super Bowl Half-Time show. Gandy, for his part, is a smolderingly-hot Italian model who’s been tapped as the lead face for Dolce & Gabbana campaigns around the world.

In this campaign, Lopez and Gandy are photographed by famed fashion photo duo Mert & Marcus lounging in luxurious looks, striking aloof expressions and languid poses that personify the high-brow cool of Italian fashion.
The campaign is meant to honor both the traditional and modern aspects of the Italian fashion house’s approach to style, bringing a simple and seductive focus to the portraits which allow Lopez and Gandy’s powerful and passionate personalities to take center stage—as well as the glasses, of course.
The eyewear featured ranges from clear lenses to sunglasses, situated in dark and silver frames, with rounded edges and slight cat eyes as well as flirty pilots, oversized and square styles, and more.
All the designs are culled from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2022 runway show, which took inspiration from the bold aesthetic choices of the early 2000s.
It’s Dolce & Gabbana’s intent that these pieces should be more than just accessories, helping to bring dynamic attitude to your look, telling the world something about your personality as well as your personal style.

Beyond the eyewear campaign, Lopez can currently be seen opposite Owen Wilson in the streaming-first film Marry Me, available now on Peacock. The romantic-comedy sees the singer-dancer play someone very similar to herself; a major pop-star who’s romantic life has been obsessed about by fans as much as her musical releases. Colombian singer Maluma also stars in the film.
