Enchanté showcases an impressive lineup of signature craft cocktails and classic French fare.
EHP Hospitality Group unveils its most recent—and romantic—culinary creation, Enchanté.
Silver and brass accents from midcentury France are complemented by textured natural linens and silk velvets.
From the team that brought us Sí Sí, Sunset Harbor and Crash Cantina comes the ever-so-charming eatery Enchanté, set to open this spring. Reimagining Southampton’s historic Red Bar, the French-inspired bistro pays homage to Parisian brasseries and seaside dining in the south of France. “Enchanté boasts a welcoming design concept reflective of its literal translation, meaning ‘nice to meet you,’” says HLC Creative Group founder and principal Hodie Clark, who spearheaded the restaurant’s design. “This project aims to maintain the key structural elements of the historic Red Bar while reenvisioning it through a midcentury design lens, greeting guests with an elevated yet familiar residential feel.”

Holophane globe pendants span the perimeter of the main dining room as an ode to the famous circular globes lighting up the streets of Paris
Guaranteed to be the hottest reservation in town this summer, the airy, glass-enclosed space is adorned with natural linens and silk velvets in hues of taupes and grays, mixed with pops of citrus orange. “Three signature spaces create a cohesive sense of belonging for diners, allowing seamless movement from the main dining room to bar to private dining area,” shares Clark. “The light-filled front dining room boasts traditional marble-top cafe tables and cream-toned seating with contemporary throw pillows, while the handsome marble bar is bordered by bistro chairs with brass detailing, and the private dining room is both cozy and romantic, filled with luxury fabrics, antiques and artwork, and a black-forest green color palette.”
Signature cocktails include Summer in Saint-Tropez and the Amelie.
For many, like Dane Sayles, the head of culinary and operations for EHP Hospitality Group, the opening of this romantic spot has been a long time coming. “I’ve been working in the Hamptons now for eight years and joined the EHP Hospitality Group in 2021. It’s been incredible to be a part of this rapidly growing hospitality group and showcasing some of my favorite ingredients and recipes.” He explains, “This year we are thrilled to open Enchanté, which has been a passion project of mine since we started concepting in 2021. It is not what you’d expect, and we can’t wait to share the experience with visitors and locals.”
In addition to the French classics, the menu also showcases a collection of delicious hors d'oeuvres
Snag a seat at the bar for signature cocktails or endless pours of wine, both old world and new
As for the menu? Expect to be dazzled by mouthwatering bites (and sips) that are rife with authentic ingredients and fresh flavor profiles. Think classic French fare like French onion soup, escargot, salade Lyonnaise and much, much more. When I ask Sayles what item he’s most excited for, his answer is quick: the burger. “We spent the last couple of months curating our own custom blend that will only be available at Enchanté, and we wanted to make a burger that was memorable even in a French bistro setting.” He adds, “I’m also excited about the nicoise salad. It will have your traditional flavors and ingredients, with a twist on the execution and presentation.” Whatever dish you decide on, we promise it will be love at first bite. 210 Hampton Road, Southampton
