Searching for a winter sweater? Look no further than Greg Lauren’s collaboration with Alanui. The opulent Italian label started with one piece—the ultimate oversized cardigan—and has since expanded into a knitwear collection where quality and attention to detail always come first. Founders Carlotta and Nicolò Oddi find their inspiration via the Southwest, the perfect complement to Lauren’s signature denim and patchwork designs. All eight styles in the capsule collection are constructed ad hoc with luxurious cashmere and aged canvas, so they are undoubtedly a fashion collector’s dream. Intended to be unisex, the pieces are designed to echo something familiar but exhibit elements of a contemporary global community. And while the collection is certainly not lacking in extravagance, the tranquil aesthetic keeps it well-equipped to handle the intimate holiday season.
