Put on your dancing shoes! Hamptons Dance Project Season VI makes its grand return to the East End. American Ballet Theatre dancer Isadora Loyola and Hamptons Dance Project founder and creative director Jose Sebastian.
It’s been four incredible seasons since I attended my first Hamptons Dance Project (HDP) performance and I still recall that unusual and profound evening in the backyard of Guild Hall, as it was one of the few performances around the globe during the distant summer of 2020.
The show went on, thanks to the perseverance of creative director Jose Sebastian and his team, who fostered a divinely creative moment within strict limits at a time when we most needed the power of live performance.

Now in its sixth season, Hamptons Dance Project continues bringing world-class dance to the East End in a truly intimate, imaginative experience between artist and audience, on a stage floating above the shoreline of Gardiners Bay.
This summer, Sebastian’s passionate vision shares new opportunities, showcasing three world premieres, through the commitment of local donors and the unwavering support of producer Pat Sebastian and legendary ballet mistress Olga Kostritzky.
Returning this season from American Ballet theatre are extraordinary artists Isabella Boylston, Aran Bell, Lauren Bonflglio, Carlos Gonzalez, Isadora Loyola and James Whiteside.
The Hamptons audience will be the first to see commissioned works from Craig Salstein and Houston thomas and an exciting new collaboration between choreographer Gemma Bond and HDP music director David Evans. The program will also feature the East Coast debut of Justin Peck’s “A Squiggle Is a Dot that Went for a Dance,” along with other surprise guest performances.
ABT principal ballerina Devon Teuscher and Jose Sebastian will perform an encore of Christopher Wheeldon’s “This Bitter Earth” with an electrifying new twist.
