Looking to get into spooky spirit this weekend without getting paranoid about the scary world out there? Here are some of the best activities and events to celebrate Halloween in the Hamptons with safety-first in mind.
PUMPKIN PICKING AT HANK’S PUMPKIN TOWN
Famously known in the Hamptons for having the best pumpkin picks in the patch, Hank’s PumpkinTown in Water Mill has the best pumpkins to carve for the ultimate Jack-o-lantern! Handpick your pumpkin, in sizes ranging from small to ginormous, that offers the best canvas to capture your Halloween emotion this year. Shocked? Happy? Scared? Excited? All moods will look great out on your doorstep.
A donut a day keeps the doctor away? Must be something like that! Sundae Donuts has established itself as Montauk’s first and best ice cream cereal bar and donut shop. While the usual trick or treating is not happening this year, we can indulge with these decadent donuts, topped with some of our favorite childhood cereals, including Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms! Though not new to the Montauk scene, its expertise is not up for debate; the donuts, ice cream, and cookie dough gives a whole new meaning to “save room for dessert.”
For all who love a scary movie for Halloween, the Southampton Arts Center is hosting a socially-distant viewing of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on October 31st! To ensure that this event remains COVID-safe, each group is required to wear masks at all times and will receive an orange ten-foot box to adhere to the protocols. Dress warmly, and bring blankets, towels, and popcorn; this outdoor exclusive screening on the west lawn is one you won’t want to miss.
Looking for more of a scene this Halloween? Southampton Social Club will get you into the ultimate Halloween groove this year with a killer dinner, no pun intended! The party will include tracks from DJ Martial, dinner, cocktails, bottle service, and more! Book your reservation today, pick your costume, and get ready to slay.
