Bay Street Theatre

This Thanksgiving weekend, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby comes to life onstage. Presented by Bay Street Theatre & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts, the 1920s-era novel graces the stage for an unforgettable performance directed by Joe Minutillo, who produced local productions of To Kill a Mockingbird, The Scarlett Letter and Death of a Salesman. The Watermill Center

Spend a day at The Watermill Center, where the artist residency program presents a variety of artists for all-around culture immersion. Some of those include John Stintzi, a Canadian-American writer, editor and artist who displays impressive literary work, and also the creative research group Tercer Abstracto, which fuses art and mathematics together, bringing it to light through a contemporary language. Southampton Arts Center

The SAC’s winter agenda is packed full of must-attend happenings. Enjoy a reading of The Hot L Baltimore by Lanford Wilson (Nov. 3), or immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with caroling on the front steps (Nov. 24 and Dec. 22). If movies are your go-to, don’t miss the exclusive showing of film festival prize-winning films at Best of Fest (Nov. 9 and Dec. 14). southamptonartscenter.org

Guild Hall

The Guild Hall brings captivating works of art to light including Syd Solomon: Concealed and Revealed, an alluring abstract expressionism exhibition at the Moran Gallery. At the Woodhouse Gallery, Please Send To: Ray Johnson, an exhibition featuring more than 30 marvelous works, is on display. And in the Spiga Gallery, an incredible award-winning solo exhibit by Sara Mejia Kriendler showcases all-new works. All exhibits Oct. 20-Dec. 16, guildhall.org

Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

This Thanksgiving weekend see The Weight Band onstage as it presents an incredible one-night-only performance (Nov. 23). The beloved holiday ballet The Nutcracker transports you to a fantasy world as it comes to life onstage (Dec. 15- 16).
