“With films from 34 different countries, a majority of which were directed by female filmmakers this year, we look forward to bringing our audiences the best from around the world,” says Artistic Director of HamptonsFilm David Nugent. “We have no doubt that these movies will continue to be a part of the cinematic conversation of the rest of the year and beyond.” With films like The Lost Daughter, Queen of Glory and the festival’s Sunday centerpiece film, Mothering Sunday, on the lineup, there’s not a second to miss. Anne Chaisson, executive director of HamptonsFilm, adds, “We welcome everyone back to Guild Hall and are overjoyed to finally be in the new Sag Harbor Cinema for our 29th edition.”
