The start of summer calls for an extra dose of art exhibits and festivals—here is where to be spotted at the beginning of the season.
PRIDE MONTH SELF LOVE SATURDAY
Sunshine is a vital ingredient in forming a rainbow. Heidi Humes, owner of Sunshine boutique (@shopsunshineamagansett), Michael Angelo, owner of Wonderland Beauty Parlor (wonderlandbeautyparlor.com) in NYC, and Alessandra Brunialti, owner of Marea clothing (mareaclothing.com), pool together their love for fashion and color at Pride Month Self-Love Saturday. Hamptonites can feast their eyes on luxurious candles, cashmere and bright pieces at Sunshine’s Amagansett boutique, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Ali Forney Center (aliforneycenter.org). This family-friendly shopping event, sponsored by SUNBOY ready-to-drink spiked coconut water, is the ultimate destination for love and pride—bonus points go to those buying and sporting the most color. 10AM-4PM, 303 Main St., Amagansett, sunshineamagansett.com
2022 HAMPTONS SPRING FESTIVAL
Food trucks, art exhibitions and live music—oh my! Celebrate the season with some extra outdoor time at the annual 2022 Hamptons Spring Festival. For one day only, gather at The Clubhouse Herrick Park for adventurous activities including a pro sports combine challenge and a luxury and electric car show. This fair provides entertainment for everyone in the family, making this a not-so-dreadful Sunday. 11AM-4PM, Herrick Park, 67 Newton Lane, East Hampton, members. easthamptonchamber.com
SAG HARBOR’S 2022 SUMMER ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
Ready, set, craft! The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce welcomes over 50 eager art enthusiasts to participate in Sag Harbor’s 2022 Summer Arts & Crafts Fair. This two-day event at Marine Park hosts artisans of all skills selling a plethora of handmade art, jewelry and other crafts. Taking place over Father’s Day weekend, Dad will be thankful for a gift from vendors like Sag Harbor Charm and Forever Yours Artwork. 9AM-5PM, Marine Park Drive, Sag Harbor, sagharborchamber.com
DR. STANLEY EPSTEIN MEMORIAL GOLF AND TENNIS OUTING
For a hole-in-one or an ace of a day, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center hosts the annual Dr. Stanley Epstein Memorial Golf and Tennis Outing. Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has nominated Cody Hoyt, owner of 7 Fitness, as the 2022 honoree, given his exceptional work as an educator, mentor, athlete and fitness trainer. Golfers can spend a tee-rific day on the greens with other enthusiasts before the live auction and cocktail hour. New to the roster this year is a tennis tournament, allowing those who prefer rackets over clubs to show off their best forehands and backhands. 9AM, Westhampton Country Club, 35 Potunk Lane, Westhampton Beach, whbpac.org
