Farm to table is a key phrase at Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. While many restaurants Out East remain open solely for the summer, Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House is open year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Do not be fooled, though, because there is always a fight for a table here–it’s nearly always booked out, so be sure to set your Resy alerts now!

As the beloved seaside Montauk spot for drinking and dancing, The Surf Lodge is always in high demand every summer. With star-studded concerts, casual celebrity run-ins, and views of the beautiful Fort Pond, wait times to get into this restaurant-club can last hours. Still, the unmatched energy makes it all worth it.

With locations all over the country and the original location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Le Bilboquet is simply iconic. Diners at the Sag Harbor location are submerged into an experience with breathtaking marina views and iconic French cuisine that is sure to leave them eager to come back for more.

An Italian food-lover’s dream, Moby’s of East Hampton serves delicious pizza, pasta, and other small bites, and, of course, equally-delicious wine and cocktails. Moby’s remains open for the spring, summer and fall. It is situated in a beautifully-restored home from the 1880s, and it sits on four acres of land.

Hop on the ferry and head over to Shelter Island to immerse yourself in an experience that will leave you feeling as if you have just visited the Amalfi Coast. Many of Sunset Beach’s visitors would argue that it is one of the best spaces out in the Hamptons.

Named after the brightest constellation in the summer sky, Calissa is Water Mill’s’ favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Located right on Montauk Highway, it is a must-visit if you are lucky enough to reserve a seat. Calissa’s three sister restaurants are all located in New York, but with Calissa, the Hamptons have never felt so Greek.

“Yes yes” is the direct translation of this Mediterranean restaurant’s name, and it makes perfect sense. Located at the EHP Resort & Marina in East Hampton, this restaurant incorporates flavors from Greece, Spain, Italy, Morocco, and more, and it does not disappoint. The seasonal flavors and local ingredients are known for leaving diners eager to return.

Another Montauk classic, Duryea’s is a waterfront restaurant limited to walk-ins, but pickup is available for food. With a market and boutique attached to it, this place has got it all. If you love lobster rolls, look no further. The Orient Point location is worth investigating, too, with equally-beautiful views and equally-delicious cuisine, as well as a beach club. The Orient Point location takes reservations.

You cannot beat the views of Sag Harbor Bay at this special summertime-only restaurant, which has stayed open for over 20 years. If snagging a reservation at Beacon is proving challenging, be sure to check out their sister restaurants, Bell & Anchor and Fresno, in Sag Harbor and East Hampton, respectively. Or, head over to their website when the sun starts to set, and watch it as it is streamed live on their webcam.

Situated right on Main Street in Amagansett, il Buco al Mare offers a Mediterranean menu that incorporates Italian cuisine, Spanish cuisine, and more. The original Il Buco sits on Bond Street in the NoHo area of Manhattan, and it was an antique shop before a menu was even in the books.

The newly opened Talya has quickly become one of the hottest restaurants in Montauk. This Mediterranean vibe-dining concept boasts a carefully curated selection of dishes composed of fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. The gorgeous decor doesn’t hurt either! Be sure to try the charred octopus salad.
