Charity begins at home–nearly 20 influential interior icons put their design capabilities to the test with this year’s Holiday House Hamptons.

An initiative designed with a generous frame of mind, Holiday House Hamptons returns after a three-year hiatus. The 9,000-square-foot, three-level home–provided by Matt Pantofel of BJC Custom Home Builders–gives each designer a room to design in the house. Founder and breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner hits close to home, where proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and The Ellen Hermanson Foundation. “For 10 years, I was a full-time interior designer and also a full-time fundraiser, so I came up with the idea to start a designer showhouse as a way of marrying my two passions in life,” said Dankner. “I am proud to say we are the ?rst event in the design industry that was formed to bene?t women’s issues.” Opening gala July 8, open to the public July 9-August 27, 279 Mitchell Lane, Bridgehampton, holidayhousehamptons.com
