i-tri, a local non-profit organization supporting young women, knows that there is not a force more powerful than girl power. Its mission statement promises to promote bravery and capability to the women of the future. Through motivational speeches and an annual triathlon, girls are not only inspired but also empowered to change the female perception.
While this year forced a change to i-try's greatest standing traditions, Giving Day is still on, with a twist! This year’s give-a-thon will be almost completely virtual, giving you the opportunity to help empower these women from the convenience of your mobile device. Starting October 15th, follow i-tri’s social media accounts for a week filled with virtual activities leading up to their annual giving day on October 22nd. This will include Instagram takeovers from some of Hamptons' notable personalities, including Hamptons Magazine Editor-in-Chief Anetta Nowosielska.
And now, for the main event... This October 22nd will be filled with back-to-back events showcasing the power of women. From 11 AM-7 PM, tune in for women from various fields as they share not only their expertise but also their words of encouragement. Expect virtual giveaways, workouts, interactive activities, and so much more!
“All of us at i-tri are excited for our Give-a-thon coming up this Thursday, October 22nd. Our goal is to raise $200,000 by the end of the day, which enables us to empower more than 300 girls and their families in 2021," explains Theresa Roden, i-tri Founder and Chief Visionary Officer. "Tune in to our i-tri girls Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube throughout the day as we welcome special guests throughout the day! These women need your support, and with your help, we can maximize the spread of girl power across Long Island."
