Jewelry designer Jennifer Creel gives her "classic with a twist" guide to the Hamptons.
“My summer style has been quite classic in the past, but in the last few years I’ve mixed classic with boho chic,” says Jennifer Creel. The jewelry designer, whose eponymous brand graces the likes of Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Debra Messing, has frequented the Hamptons for a decade. “I love the Hamptons...the shops and restaurants all the towns have to offer, the pure beauty, as well as being able to see many of my friends from all around the world,” she says. First on the agenda each summer, Creel stops at her favorite shops to stock up for the season ahead. This year, she takes us along for the ride.
“Carissa’s is a delicious bakery, and my favorite items to get here are the olive oil as well as the freshly baked olive bread... to die for!” 68 Newtown Lane, East Hampton
“I love going to dinners [here] and looking back at the green rolling fields of vineyards. I feel like I could be anywhere in the world.” 139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack.
“Aerin’s shops have always intrigued me with the different array of products she has and the beauty authenticity of each.” Classic croc large jewelry case in Bisque, $1,250, and cherry objet, $275, both at AERIN, 7 Newtown Lane, East Hampton; 83 Main St., Southampton
