Hamptonite and Loeffler Randall founder and Creative Director Jessie Randall shares her stylish selects for the season—and what is next for her sophisticated shoe, apparel and accessories brand.
What brand news should we share for the season ahead? We opened our first Loeffler Randall store this year at 10 Prince St. in Nolita. We’ve been in business for 16 years, so this was truly the most exciting news ever for our company. Come stop by!
What do you think is the ultimate summer shoe for the Hamptons? I love our Sonnie slide, which feels at home at the beach, the farmers stand and paired with a fancy dress for casual dinners with friends outside. I’ll be living in my pair this summer. Our pleated styles, like Camellia in Beauty (a new color this season), are also great for events.
“My favorite table linens are from Maison de Vacances in Paris. They sell them at Clic. So chic!” 100 Park Place, East Hampton, clic.com
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Seeing family and friends again after so long. I cannot wait to catch up and give my friends real hugs for the first time! I’ll be wearing my Natalia heels to celebrate this summer. There are 400 pleats in each pair of our signature pleated styles!
What is your favorite shop for the home in the Hamptons? My favorite home furnishings store out East is Clic Home. Hands down! And I dream of being able to afford things at Wyeth—ha!
“I think gifting my favorite laundry wash from The Laundress is a lovely hostess gift. I love their 723 scent.” White’s Apothecary, 81 Main St., East Hampton; thelaundress.com
Where do you like to source your lighting? I love the light fixtures we have in our Loeffler Randall store. They are from Georges Store in France.
Where do you like to buy flowers? My absolute favorite flowers are from a little roadside stand on Ocean Road called Ocean Road Flowers. If I’m out for a run, I can just help myself to a bouquet and use my phone to pay via Venmo. It’s genius! For more elaborate arrangements, my go-to is Sag Harbor Florist. Their arrangements are elegant and gorgeous. And I also love to get a shipment of flowers from Tin Can Studios and make my own arrangements.
Where do you like to buy other home accessories in the Hamptons? I’m obsessed with Aesop for hand soap. And I love the handknitted pot holders from Lazy Point Variety. I get all my craft supplies from the Sag Harbor Variety. They actually have a large selection of supplies. I love it there.
Where do you source wallpaper and paint? My go-to for paint is Farrow & Ball, which I order from Aboff’s in Wainscott. I love the guy there. He’s so kind and helpful. A few favorite wallpaper resources: Phillip Jeffries for grasscloth, Borastapeter, Lake August, Lee Jofa, etc.
Where do you source your home fabrics or textiles? I’ve been using a lot of textiles from my company at my house like a yarn-dye stripe for my built-in couch. I also love to buy vintage textiles on Etsy, especially vintage florals and ditzy prints. Heather Taylor Home makes gorgeous duvet covers.
What are your outdoor entertaining essentials? My favorite table linens are from Maison de Vacances in Paris. They sell them at Clic. So chic! My favorite plates are from RW Guild in the city, and I find things on eBay and at the thrift shop in Southampton.
Where do you source epicurean items for entertaining guests? Loaves & Fishes Cookshop has nice cooking implements. For food I like Round Swamp or Loaves & Fishes.
What summer meal are you looking forward to serving guests? Anything easy and on the grill. I’m honestly much more excited to set a pretty table than spend time cooking! We did get an ice cream maker over quarantine, and that is super fun to use to make amazing ice cream flavors. The kids decorate the labels on the pints. It’s fun.
Any other Hamptons resources or products that are a summer must for you? Rosé from my friend Joey Wölffer. Candles from Love Adorned. I think gifting my favorite laundry wash from The Laundress is a lovely hostess gift. I love their 723 scent. I like to go to Marders for pretty indoor plants and gardening supplies.
