Jessie Randall and her family have been heading to the Hamptons for years. The gorgeous designer of it-girl favorite brand Loeffler Randall adores heading to the beach and entertaining friends all summer long in her beautiful home. Spending so much time out East means Randall knows all the hotspots, and the best kept secrets too! We chatted to Randall about all of her favorite Hamptons haunts, tips for entertaining and what she’s most excited about for summer 2018.
First things first, pool or beach?
JR: Both! I’m a sucker for the pool but I love to go to Main Beach East Hampton to watch my twins as Junior Lifeguards.
Sunsets or sunrises?
Speaking of mornings, where’s your favorite place to get a coffee in the Hamptons?
JR: I don’t drink coffee but I’m addicted to the iced tea at the Golden Pear.
What about lunch - best place for long catch up with friends?
JR: I love to go to Estia’s when there isn’t too long of a wait.
If you’re hosting people at your home, what’s a typical dinner you might throw together?
JR: My go to plan is to grill for lunch with sides from Loaves and Fishes and then go out to dinner.
Best hosting tip?
JR: Fresh flowers on the nightstand.
What are you reading this summer?
JR: David Sedaris’ new book.
What are the three things that are always in your beach bag?
JR: Inside my Loeffler Randall x Steele Canvas beach bag are: towels from Bobo Choses, Sun Bum sunscreen and a card game like 24 to play with the kids.
Best place for an ice cream?
JR: I like Joe and Liza’s ice cream best and I get it close to my house at Bay Burger. Or I love to go to Candy Kitchen because that restaurant makes me happy.
The best place to go shopping in the Hamptons?
JR: I’m so excited for Goop Market and the new LoveShackFancy shops in Sag Harbor. I also love Clic in East Hampton.
Go-to summer beauty products?
JR: Etude beauty under eye masks, Aesop products and lots of sunscreen.
Finally, what are you most excited about for summer 2018?
JR: Spending time cuddling with my kids, working out and lunches with my husband, working on some craft projects and getting some time away from the office to recharge.
