The lyrics of Sonic Youth’s 1985 song ‘I love her all the time’ inspired Zadig et Voltaire’s artistic director Cecilia Bönström to choose Kate Moss as her muse for the Fall/Winter campaign. The mood of the collection matches the English top model’s style: amazing leather pieces, menswear-inspired shirting, fitted blazers and cowboy boots. Bönström wanted to inject the “model off duty” look into the collection and what a better icon to partner with than Kate Moss herself?
This time Moss was more than a muse. For this collection she actively participated in the design of 15 unique handbag styles ranging from faux python to studded suede all with Moss’ well wishes embossed on the inside. The collection debuted at last week’s Paris Fashion week at the Zadig et Voltaire show where Moss was present in the front row watching her influence strut past in no less of a location than the Ritz.
The bags are available online and in Zadig et Voltaire stores this month.
