On December 9th, Lobster Roll opened their highly anticipated second location in Southampton, New York.
This is the latest addition to Lobster Roll’s legacy and is their first year-round location.
Co-owners Fred Terry, Andrea Anthony, and Paul DeAngelis have teamed with chairman and CEO of Tilray Inc., Irwin Simon, for this cross-town expansion.
Simon’s extensive knowledge in business development will help take Lobster Roll to new depths, across land and sea.
Together, they’ve plotted a dramatic expansion of the brand that will eventually include everything from new merchandise to grab-and-go food items to doggy apparel and now, the newly opened second Lobster Roll.
Lobster Roll has embraced a modern nostalgic shack vibe for their second location, which will continue to embrace its beginning as a seafood hot spot for East End visitors.
Andrea loves creating a vibe, she mentions “We go for a retro vibe, we’re from the ‘60s, and we embrace that.”
Andrea plans on bringing those nostalgic vibes all year long for day-trippers and vacationers alike to stop for lunch, dinner, and even just grab a few cocktails before cruising down the adventurous Montauk Highway.
Even though Lobster Roll is notoriously known as LUNCH, the Southampton location is focusing on the dinner and cocktail menu for the year-round late-night crowd.
For guests looking to shake a towel in the wind, the beverage program focuses on essentials such as the Bacardi Rum Splashes, Frozen Daiquiris, and new additions like the Basil Hayden Manhattan and Belvedere Cosmopolitan for the Hamptonites looking to enjoy an elegant evening.
Lobster Roll will also be debuting a finely-tuned wine menu that features a few local Long Island favorites such as Wölffer Estate and Hampton Water Roses.
Besides offering their classic Hot or Cold Lobster Rolls, Lobster Roll is sticking true to their roots by offering an elevated addition to their menu at the Southampton location.
For starters, the Finest Steamers and Broth; a quart of South Fork classic “soft shell” clams and the classic Fish N’ Chips; lightly battered Atlantic cold-water cod fried to crispy perfection and accompanied by tartar sauce, are a must to kick off the meal.
To cozy up for the cooler weather, the Hearty Manhattan Seafood Chowder; tomato-based soup with fresh clams, shrimp, scallops, and cod and the Soup-N-Slider; a cup of either Manhattan or New England Chowder accompanied with a classic lobster salad slider, will do the trick.

Lobster Roll is set to dismiss the controversy of seafood and cheese with their Lobster Grilled Cheese; fresh lobster meat with your choice of cheese, which will add some flare to the evening. Some may call this unethical, but once you try it, you’ll consider it essential.
For the main course, The Baked Stuffed Flounder, which is a house favorite, features crabmeat stuffing with mild melted cheese and finished with scampi butter, and Paul’s Famous Seafood Chili; a blend of shrimp, lobster, scallops, and beans topped with melted cheddar cheese, sour cream, and scallions, will be the highlight course of your meal.
The mother in Andrea wouldn't let you leave without trying a slice of her Caramel Apple Crisp A La Mode; cinnamon-spiced fresh apples baked with a buttery oat crumb topping, drizzled with gooey caramel and served with a choice of Vanilla, Cookies, and Cream, or Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
This will certainly bring your meal to a close in a decadent, yet festive manner.
