Spanish luxury house Loewe makes its debut out East.
Fans of its iconic Puzzle bags and cult raffia totes can rejoice now that luxury brand LOEWE just made a grand debut in East Hampton. First opening with the women’s pre-fall collection, the stylish shop will stock the buzzy brand’s full range of ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, shoes, sunglasses, jewelry and home scents. Natural fiber carpets, Utrecht chairs and walls in vibrant hues add punches of personality combined with the traditional LOEWE handmade ceramic tiles in podiums. With a heavy hand in the creation of each space, creative director Jonathan Anderson hand-selects all the art for each of the brand’s boutiques across the country. The East Hampton store spotlights a pair of pots by Japanese straw artist and LOEWE Craft Prize 2018 finalist ARKO. Created as part of the 2021 LOEWE x Sotheby’s project Weavers, the piece reimagines a traditional Galician handmade clay pot for roasting chestnuts. 20 Main St., East Hampton, loewe.com
