Corcoran's top real estate agent Mala Sander discloses her new unique listings along with what makes summer in the Hamptons so special.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF YOUR JOB?

I love that it’s such an exciting and ever-changing environment: There’s always new inventory, new challenges, new technology and new ways to make clients’ dreams happen—which is what I love doing most at the end of the day. We have seen the evolution of the real estate industry from small boutique companies that used three-ring binders as their listing system to large corporate entities that have implemented the newest technology into all aspects of the selling process, from our day-to-day operations to how we market properties. Not to mention the changes in the rise of social media, which allows me to connect on a daily basis with my clients and more people than ever before.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS?

There’s no greater joy than entertaining in summer, when we can prepare and serve meals from our fabulous local farm stand bounty, set the table with fresh flowers from the garden and pour local wines like Wölffer’s Summer in a Bottle rosé or Channing Daughters’ Rosato di Cabernet Franc. Of course, the incredible backdrop of waterfront sunsets doesn’t hurt!

I also love to be out and about for a little fun in the sun at outdoor restaurants like Tutto Il Giorno, Le Bilboquet, Duryea’s, Sunset Beach and so many others. Long morning beach walks with my three pups and dreamy sunset cruises on our boat add to my list of summer pleasures.
