This summer, a renovated auto body shop is the site of one of the season’s hottest pop-ups. After a successful partnership during the 2022 holiday season, luxury fashion e-commerce site Mytheresa and lifestyle brand Flamingo Estate are joining forces and opening a summer storefront in East Hampton through July 30.

The traditional “gas station snack section” will be transformed into the Inconvenience Store, where Mytheresa and Flamingo Estate will showcase a wide range of joint swag and nonperishable pantry items. Located in a high-traffic area across the road from the railway station, the store will be easily recognizable with its traffic-stopping Mytheresa yellow branding, signaling the arrival of these two powerhouse brands on the East Coast. Keeping on theme and nodding to the body shop location, classic auto parts are reimagined—think shelves made from tires, clothing racks hanging from car lifts, and tool sheds housing stylish accessories. In addition to the interactive store itself, daily programming will include designer appearances, floral arranging and makeovers.
