Thirty-five years ago, culinary couple Jeff Salaway and Toni Ross opened the doors to their first authentic Italian restaurant in East Hampton—serving up an innovative menu rife with bold flavors and local ingredients. Now, Nick & Toni's has earned its spot as an East End staple, welcoming in the “it” crowd every summer, and never wavering from its signature (and savory) fare. “Despite our popularity, we have remained grounded and have always kept true to our sense of family among our staff and customers,” says Ross. “We have watched children grow up here; some of our staff has been with us for 10 and 15-plus years.
