Hamptons wellness contributor and The Agdal Method founder Nina Agdal shares more about the method behind her gladness.
“This isn’t just about fitness; it’s about your journey and your mindset around what health means to you,” explains supermodel Nina Agdal of The Agdal Method (@theagdalmethod). The Danish-born beauty is taking the East End by storm this season with her 360 approach to wellness. We polled the certified health coach and Hamptons contributor about what we can expect this season.
What sparked your interest in health and wellness? It stems from how I was raised. I grew up in a very active family where sports were the center and focus of my upbringing. My mother was really good about cooking at home for us and making sure we had nutritious, well-balanced meals. Once I started down the path of modeling, my fitness and nutrition journey really began. In the beginning it was turbulent, but it eventually led to my passion of seeking balance.
When did you realize that you had a talent for teaching others about wellness? After years of experimenting endlessly with diet and exercise regimens, I noticed that many were approaching me for my personal opinion and expertise based on my experience. I discovered my voice within the wellness community and found what was most important to me; if I could educate myself in the right way, I could provide support and guidance for others to find their happiest and healthiest self. This led me to becoming a certified health coach.
What do you wish more people understood about your method? We are just getting started. The most important takeaway about the method is we truly want to build a community that understands this is a 360 mentality around wellness. The Agdal Method is here to support you as an individual and build your foundation for your well-being.
What can we expect for this Hamptons season ahead? It’s been a challenging year for all of us. I think we are all looking forward to warmer and lighter days. I can’t wait to get back to my COVID-safe residency at the Reform Club. If I can predict, this summer is going to be a busy one out East. With sunshine and warmer weather, hopefully we all feel more grounded and excited for days to come while being grateful for each moment.
What types of content do you plan to share this season? I’m so excited to be a contributing editor this season for Hamptons magazine. I am looking forward to sharing all my wellness tips and tricks, from my skincare routines to my workout hacks to how to take care of your mental health. Can’t wait to take you along!
