Step into a world of curated art and sustainable finds with the Hamptons' new retail concept destination, One.
With a multitude of home accessories available, shop from various brands including Saved NY and Roll & Hill.
Reimagining the world of retail is East Hampton’s newest marketplace, One. Going beyond the typical shopping experience, One embodies a curated selection of fashion, jewelry, interiors and artwork from a variety of brands, artists and designers. The store itself boasts two floors of bright colors and fun prints and acts as a wonderland of whimsical dresses, dreamy home decor, delicate jewelry and so much more.
Black Iris, Line Markvardsen and Jennifer Behr are just some of the brands offered for women’s apparel.
“In our era of increasing online shopping and the decline of many multibrand luxury retailers, One fills the void for clients looking to discover new brands, talents and trends in person,” says founder Julianna Teeple. “Brick-and-mortar shopping is a changing industry and an activity optimized by experiential elements that cannot fully be achieved online. My goal has been to structure a business that is built for the future—one that can withstand the sales and cost pressures faced by all physical retail—yet is built to survive thanks to its ability to deliver uniquely in-person experiences. Particularly in this moment, when we’ve all been stuck at home and behind screens for a year, One is a destination and an experience of discovery for all five senses that we are so excited to share with East Hampton.”

Honing in on bespoke client services, the store is tailored toward discovery and seeks out sustainably minded, product-led brands, creators and artists. Following suit, a new exclusive partnership with Artsy will debut as an in-person outpost, providing in-person and digital access to the One x Artsy curation of artworks. “Over the last decade, Artsy has served millions of collectors and aspiring collectors online, helping them to discover and acquire renowned works of art from the world’s leading galleries and auction houses,” says Mike Steib, CEO of Artsy. “Through our partnership with One, and a curated selection of works by some of New York’s most exciting emerging artists, we are excited to bring East Hamptons a glimpse of the Artsy experience.” The marketplace allows emerging and established artists to be discovered and for clients to buy and sell fine art exclusively in person and online at Artsy. For the finishing touch, One x Artsy will also showcase an exhibition of artworks done by emerging New York City artists, New York Rising, along with a rich program of cultural events throughout the summer.

“I’ve built a business that is designed to inspire and thrive in what is likely to be one of the best shopping destinations in the country as we collectively move past the pandemic,” says Teeple. “I’m so thrilled to share my vision for One with East Hampton with the launch of our inaugural flagship this summer.”
Men’s brands include Teddy Von Ranson, Jason Scott, OAS, Active Cashmere and Indi.
For whatever is on your summer shopping list, One’s evergreen collection of the most new and notable is sure to help you discover that unique piece that you can take pride in forever. 1 Main St., East Hampton
