The dreaded planning and packing-up routine of hosting took a leave of absence a year ago when social gatherings became scarce. In lieu of the return of the hospitality scene, Party by Numbers launched a service in the Hamptons to remove stress and elevate every gathering.
“When I had to host my partner Luigi’s birthday last April during lockdown for our pod in my apartment, I looked into the experience marketplace and found it lacking,” says co-founder Nicky Balestrieri. “I found plenty of party rental companies, decor kit companies and prepared food box companies for me to DIY an event. But nowhere in the experience marketplace existed a product that delivered a whole event. We realized then and there that it was time to reimagine entertaining.”
Four hospitality and catering masterminds put together this concept as a response to the pandemic. Their vision consisted of a cart, which would include deliciously cooked food, batched cocktails, music and speakers, decor and floral arrangements, custom plates and glassware and ice, all in one. The service not only takes the stress out of organizing parties and social gatherings but utilizes a practical and sleek approach.
“Party by Numbers will connect with those in the Hamptons in many ways,” says Balestrieri. “It’s a conversation starter, a cabinet of curiosities carefully curated from global destinations, providing elevated food and beverage service with an attention to detail that will wow any host and their guests,” he says. “The core of the product—the cart—and our inventions are all designed with a neutral palette to fit into any environment, while the vast aesthetics of our destination-inspired collections offer a transformative setup for any setting.”
The design mimics a sleek and well-designed airline trolley, with the capability of hosting eight to 96 guests. This cart is highly practical, being that it is the one-stop destination for all party needs, occasions and spaces. The simple yet sophisticated piece reimagines the traditional party experience with zero waste and fuss for the host. It is also tailored to the customer’s preferences, uniquely styled with room for glassware, food, flair and more.
