Achieving high status in Hamptons brokerage is no easy feat, yet real estate agent Paulina Keszler takes the crown as one of the top agents—and this is just the beginning. Pursuing her deep-rooted affinity for real estate back in 2019, Keszler embarked on a meaningful career connecting clientele with their dream properties under the mentorship of an accomplished real estate maven— her mother, Michaela Keszler.
“Working with my mother adds the right amount of pressure and responsibility. When the person you look up to most is your mentor, you are motivated to do the best for everyone. She has the most inspiring work ethic and has always taught me to be honest, hardworking and love what I do. I always try to work for my clients and not for the commission. Closing a deal is great, but having long-term client relationships is the best. Renters turn into buyers, and buyers turn into landlords,” says Keszler.
After her debut year at Douglas Elliman, Keszler received the prestigious Rookie of the Year award, setting the stage for an illustrious journey of success. Having watched her mother and sister receive the same accolade during their beginning years in the industry, Keszler embraced this right of passage and dedicated herself wholeheartedly to providing clients with the same excellence that runs in her family.
“Real estate is like a puzzle; you have all of these pieces, and you have to figure out how they go together,” says Keszler. “Nothing is more rewarding than when a client falls in love. When you are in real estate, you are not only selling houses; you are selling a home, a lifestyle and a place where your clients can live their lives too. Nothing is more rewarding than a win-win-win: a happy buyer, a happy seller and a good working relationship between brokers.”
According to Keszler, trust in your broker is vital to finding a forever home. Open and honest relationships between potential buyers and brokers foster a sense of “always on their mind” commitment and ensure that buyers will be the first to know when a broker discovers what may be the perfect fit for their clients.
“Southampton Village will always be my home, but I have loved the Sagaponack and Bridgehampton area lately. I love taking long drives and seeing all the different scenery, from lavender fields to sandy beaches to dairy cows—there is nothing better,” says Keszler.
As a woman of many trades, Keszler also has a background in screenwriting—she is currently in preproduction on her directorial debut for her first film set to be filmed in October. In the off moments between showings, find Keszler on the tennis court or basking in the refreshing waters of the East End’s shores. Beyond her real estate and screenwriting endeavors, Keszler partnered with SPROUT Coding in honor of her late brother and his zeal for computer coding, where she aided in the construction of a solar-powered computer coding school in Zimbabwe. As of today, the initiative empowers over 200 students with coding skills.
Keszler’s latest outstanding listing, 133 and 135 Toylsome Lane, exudes abundant natural light and is situated in Southampton. With two legal residences of utmost space and comfort, the property presents an incredibly rare and valuable opportunity to call Southampton home, epitomizing the luxury and exquisite finishes of each and every one of Keszler’s distinguished listings.
