This season, the Hamptons have been blessed with a slew of fashion houses finding new homes out east. Think Dior, Cartier, Chanel and Valentino. The latest luxury label to join our ranks is Prada, and we could not be more excited to welcome them.
Prada's new store is just like the label: elegant, lively, current and effortlessly timeless. Located at 2 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, the 1,600-square-foot store is flooded in buttery natural light thanks to its expansive windows. Ivory and green striped carpets are mirrored by walls adorned with the same pattern for a strikingly designed temporary installation. Neon green signs in an interpretation of Prada's iconic triangle logo grace the walls.
The store carries both the men's and women's collections of ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories, in addition to a special collection that embodies the atmosphere of summer. We recommend you grab the Raffia tote bag and matching Raffia bucket hat to hit the beach (and brunch!) in style the rest of this season.
