A top seller in the Hamptons, Douglas Elliman’s Michaela Keszler sold 14 homes in 12 months in the village of Southampton alone. She’s known for taking on some of the area’s most luxe properties, from a $39.5 million megamansion to a $28 million Water Mill estate. We checked in with the power broker on what the market looks like now.
What’s the best part of your job? I like being able to see some of the most beautiful real estate in the world, matching buyers and sellers and closing the deal.
What’s your selling style like? 100% honesty. I provide as much information as possible so that sellers and buyers are able to make the right decisions.
What do you like about selling in the Hamptons market? I fell in love with the Hamptons in the early ’90s. I love the variety of different architectural styles fitting into the region. Plus, the wide beaches, the wonderful light and the people.
So what’s the state of the market during this pandemic? We started the year with a strong January and February. We have a lot of online inquiries, and as soon as we can show again we will be very busy.
