Those with an eye for design, an ear for sonic experimentation and a love of fine jewelry are in for a treat, as two Norwegian powerhouses come together on one beautiful collection.
Grammy-nominated electronic duo Röyksopp teamed with the Tom Wood jewelry brand on a delicate and strong line of androgynous and eco-concious line of rings and bracelets. Dubbed The Cage Collection, it’s a decidedly modern assortment of accessories that speaks to the beauty in order and repetition with clean lines and circular geometry.

The Cage Collection is released in tandem with Röyksopp’s Profound Mysteries, a trilogy of albums of which two installments have so far been released.
“Tom Wood and Röyksopp have a lot in common,” the band says in a joint statement. “We both aim to create artisan, contemporary and somewhat esoteric art that feels unique, interesting and rare. There is also a focus on longevity, as well as sustainability. Being very pretentious, we like to think that our music is somewhat «modular» and/or ambiguous; there are things to be discovered within the music, depending on what you are seeking or listening for. So just like the rings, the perception of our music can be altered to befit your need.”
When designing the limited collection, Tom Wood founder Mona Jensen took inspiration from the sound and lyrics of Profound Mysteries, honing in on the mechanical loops that layer to create a melodic and soulful experience.
Elegant yet bold, the lineup of rings, cuffs and bands come in single, double and triple designs; each of which are made from 100 percent recycled 925 sterling silver and 9K gold.
Even the packaging is sustainable. Each order comes in a white box with custom-cut lines to house multiple combinations of rings, and each is made from 100 percent recycled PET from the non-profit organization Plastic Bank.
Prices range from $119 to $859, and the full collection is now available to shop online as well as in-store at select global retailers.
This isn’t the only way Röyksopp’s Profound Mysteries trilogy moves beyond the traditional realm of music. Both Profound Mysteries I and II come to life in a series of short films and animated visuals; counting 22 tracks, films and visual “artefacts” in total. Profound Mysteries III is due for release Friday, Nov. 18.
