The Surf Lodge kicks off its legendary outdoor concert series with VINCINT, St. Lucia and more.
The year has started off slow—auditoriums and concert halls have remained quiet—but now the world is beginning to get loud and with new music on the rise, fans are ready to sing along once again. For the Hamptons, the road to live music starts with The Surf Lodge.
The iconic Montauk hotel, bar and restaurant is back just in time for the summer with a season full of musical talent. Making way for a full comeback, The Surf Lodge will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with weekend seating by reservation only. Rooms and suites are available for summer stays, and friendly amenities—like free bike rentals and a complimentary minibar (on weekends)—are back in action. With the outdoor concert series already underway, artists such as VINCINT, St. Lucia, G. Love and Donavon Frankenreiter will make their long-awaited return to the stage. With performances taking place on a deck overlooking Fort Pond, these will be shows you don’t want to miss.
“Music has always been an instrumental component of The Surf Lodge; it’s a part of our DNA, with so many incredible acts gracing our stage over the years,” says Jayma Cardoso, founder and creative director of The Surf Lodge. “This summer, we are focusing on more acoustical performances to complement the intimate nature and vibe of the venue this season. I look forward to having back some of our favorite bands like St. Lucia—this will be their fifth season playing at the property— and excited to welcome first-time artists such as VINCINT.” Although the concerts may have been on hold this past year, the artists have not, and many are coming to the stage with newly released songs and albums. VINCINT released a single earlier this summer, so many fans will get the chance to sing along to the new hit for the very first time. After that, St. Lucia performs on July Fourth and rings in the holiday with its classic hits and fan favorites.
