After names such as Sublime, Bon Jovi, John Summit and Chad Smith have graced the Clubhouse's stage in the past, the venue is now back with another huge summer. This season, expect to see Amy Schumer, MGMT, Lupe Fiasco, Dark Star Orchestra, Whethan, Joe Gatto, DJ Roosevelt and more thanks to power duo Matt Rubenstein and Matt Classens, also known as M&M.
Rubenstein, the venue's entertainment and events director, never imagined becoming an entertainment director of his caliber. "I've always loved communicating with people through curating meaningful events and experiences while giving back to the community," he shares. Now, he's able to do so at the Clubhouse, which ran Bon Jovi's soup kitchen during the pandemic. He and Classens, who was previously known for hosting house parties turned concerts with talent like JuiceWorld, Kaytrananda and Lil Peep, make the perfect pair.
The venue's calendar is packed for the rest of the season, with MGMT coming July 23 for the Amy Schumer afterparty, Lupe Fiasco coming July 30, Joe Gatto coming August 11, Dark Star Orchestra coming August 14 and Whethan coming August 27.
