With concierge medicine trending across the Hamptons and beyond, these local physicians have become go-tos for top-notch care with a personal touch.
It’s all about catering to clients’ very personalized medical needs at Hamptons Boutique Medicine, which offers a range of bespoke services designed to make its exclusive patient list feel at ease. Whether someone is in need of primary or urgent care services, rapid COVID-19 testing with sameday results or a consult about upcoming travel plans, Rashid and her team are at their beck and call. “They want something, they text us, and we’re there within 30 minutes to provide the care. It’s basically having a best friend but who happens to be a doctor and takes care of your family,” says the board-certified family physician and full-time local—she lives in Southampton with her husband, who’s a critical care trauma surgeon, and their two sons. “We’re not commuting back and forth... we’re not a pop-up shop. We are true to the community,” she explains. Additionally, Rashid is credentialed at both Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and Northwell Peconic Bay Medical Center, giving her the unique advantage of understanding local medical facilities’ capabilities, specialist availability and the overall culture of the Hamptons community.
“I think the pandemic really made a lot of people realize that, ‘What if I had this medical care in the house—in the comfort of my home, but high-level medical care?’ And that’s how it all sort of evolved,” Rashid says of her burgeoning concierge practice, which also services Manhattan and Palm Beach, with Westchester on the horizon. “A lot of our clients mention that they’re seeing us more than their own family members during the pandemic, so we’ve really gotten to know them and they’ve gotten to know us, and it’s become a very sacred bond.” 2454 Main St., Bridgehampton, 631.594.3238
DR. GOLBERG WELLNESS & FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE
Available for in-home services providing anything from pain management and hair growth to lip enhancement and nonsurgical face-lifts, this double-board-certified anti-aging and regenerative medicine doctor helps improve the lives of his patients through his osteopathic, hands-on approach. “Osteopathic medicine has a philosophy that the body has a natural ability to heal itself,” says Golberg, who was one of the first physicians in the country to specialize in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy, which utilizes plasma to promote tissue repair, accelerate healing and even stimulate collagen production.
When the pandemic hit, Golberg, who boasts office locations in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, began offering concierge services in the Hamptons as his city patients retreated to their beach homes yet still desired the effective treatments that would help them look and feel better. Now, he is continuing to expand his concierge practice since most of the procedures are minimally invasive and can be performed in the home, providing the ultimate convenience to his patients. “The focus of my concierge services is pain and beauty,” shares Golberg, who ensures that all clients have his cell phone number and that he is accessible to them 24/7. “I get to meet very interesting people, celebrities,” he says of his work out East. “But at the end of the day we’re all human beings, and everybody unfortunately develops a certain amount of degenerative process in the body that gives us pain and discomfort that need to be taken care of. … We’re all trying to fight the aging process, no matter who you are.” 917.301.8782
