Every morning, I start the day with... It’s all about the morning snuggles for me, followed by my HeartStone practice. It helps me understand where I am energetically and prevents me from falling into the trap of autopilot. It also gets good vibrations flowing for the day.
For a wellness reset, I like to... The ultimate reset involves unplugging from the matrix, slowing down, embracing nature and indulging in some serious PJ time with my immediate family. It’s like hitting the ‘life appreciation’ button, you know?
In my diet, I try to focus on... I’m feeling vegan, organic life with heaps of veggies and a sidekick of B12 and magnesium has been serving me right.
My go-to dinner spot in the Hamptons is... I love having dinner parties at home. If I go out, it’s gotta be soaking in Donna Karan’s good energy at Tutto Il Giorno. You can practically taste the positivity in the air, especially enjoying a pre-dinner glass of wine in their beautiful shop!
Best-kept local wellness secret/hidden gem? It’s not exactly hidden, but Provisions is the ultimate wellness treasure trove. Shopping there is like a health boost for your soul—right after a session in my studio, of course.
Go-to healthy cocktail or mocktail? Only one drink for me: Joey Wölffer’s Summer in a Bottle. It’s not just a drink; it’s a love potion.
Go-to coffee order? Just a simple Jack’s coffee with a foam of oat milk. It’s such a cozy wake-up for me.
Go-to dinner order? I can’t resist the hummus and pita from Highway. That is one plate I won’t share.
Go-to workout uniform? Lately, I’m all about a sheer cropped shrug over a onepiece unitard.
If I only have 20 minutes to work out, I always… I dive straight into my signature TA arms routine, followed by 15 minutes of classic dance routines. Quick and effective!
In terms of wellness, you can never have too much… In wellness, honesty about our participation and performance is paramount, as is safeguarding the longevity of our bodies in motion and maintaining self-respect.
But you should avoid… Steer clear of toxic relationships. Dishonesty is bad for your well-being, and habits that prematurely limit our body’s capabilities. Surprisingly, many exercise routines neglect the importance of functionality and long-term mobility as we age.
My mantra is… Your health can handle the hard truth. It cannot handle lies. And, of course: Love wins.
Three quick exercises for summer swim season prep… Summer swim moves
1.Start kneeling high, left arm extended to the ceiling, right leg extended straight to side with foot on floor, right hand on right hip. Next, right leg bends to pull in across body as left arm pulls down with left elbow toward right knee. After this, left arm returns extended to ceiling and right leg returns to floor.
2.Kneeling high, right arm extended to ceiling, left hand on right elbow. Next, left hand lowers to floor with right arm extended front and right leg extended straight back. Then, pull right arm into body, with right leg pulling toward right elbow with leg bent at side at a 90-degree angle. Return right arm front and right leg extended behind, then return kneeling high to starting position.
3.Start kneeling high with the right arm extended to ceiling and left hand on right elbow. Next, place the left hand to floor behind body, hinging back with the right arm extended to ceiling. Pull the right arm bent into body. Right arm returns to ceiling to lift body to kneel high with left hand on right elbow.
