UJA-Federation of New York, a central force for communal planning and philanthropy in the Jewish community, is adapting their annual Hamptons Trunk Show to a virtual format on Thursday, August 5th.
For more than a dozen years, UJA-Federation of New York’s Hamptons Trunk Show has been a must-attend summer event, bringing the community together to shop with a purpose.
A percentage of the proceeds of all vendor sales benefit UJA to further its philanthropic mission. UJA distributes its funds to hundreds of nonprofit organizations in New York, Israel, and around the globe.
This year’s Hamptons Trunk Show offers a virtual shopping bonanza! Nearly 80 vendors will be selling designer clothing, athleisure wear, resort wear, upcycled denim, beaded and fine jewelry, luxury footwear, artwork, maternity clothes, and so much more!
These vendors share UJA’s passion for giving back to those in need.
The pandemic has created hardship and trauma for many New Yorkers. In response, UJA has allocated $67 million in emergency funding across the New York region to address critical needs including food insufficiency, emergency cash assistance, job training, and mental health counseling.
Funds raised at this year’s Hamptons Trunk Show will help UJA get New Yorkers back on their feet.
The event also features an exclusive conversation between Ramy Brook Sharp, Founder and Creative Director of contemporary fashion label Ramy Brook, and Danielle Bernstein, Founder of popular lifestyle blog, WeWoreWhat, and philanthropic platform, WeGaveWhat.
With a unique perspective from Ramy Brook, Hamptons Trunk Show founder, the conversation will be centered around UJA’s philanthropic missions, as well as the rising rates of antisemitism in the modern world.
Shopping and simultaneously giving back to the community? Exclusive insight into two Jewish-identifying fashion moguls? We can't think of a better way to spend your Thursday!
