One luxury brand is targeting eco-friendly Hamptonites with titillating design and the promise of a hipper way of getting around.
Vintage Electric’s Cafe bike reaches up to 28 mph
A motorbike hybrid, Vintage Electric is known for crafting high-performance e-bikes that exude a bygone era. With many spotted around the crowded beach parking lots along Lily Pond Lane, the new offering is set to add even more riders of this gorgeous World War I era-looking motordrome on our roads. The new Cafe model features a versatile design and is engineered for optimal performance to ensure a smooth ride no matter how long the journey. The Cafe’s Vintorque drivetrain technology facilitates a pedal assist that reacts instantly to the motion of your feet, effectively making it safer than most other e-bike options. Available in three sizes, the Cafe has a chromoly steel frame, both strong and lightweight, powered by a removable 500-watt-hour battery. On a single full charge, the battery pushes the Cafe to reach speeds of up to 28 mph. The overall look available in Golden Gate Red or Skyline Bronze features distinct original details like supple leather handles and maple or walnut inlay. Design and speed aside, arguably the Cafe’s biggest upside is that it doesn’t require a beach parking permit.
