Owned by culinary duo Karoline Cerqueira and Andrew Molen, the plant-forward bakery serves an array of healthy indulgences—from chocolate hazelnut beignets to gluten-free almond Bundt cakes and more. “This is a dream that I have been working on for a couple years,” shares Cerqueira, who is a certified ayurvedic and holistic nutritionist. “After working with so many clients with celiac and dietary restrictions, I wanted to have a place where they could come and have daily options.” Her culinary counterpart, Molen (who, yes, sports an impressive résumé from The Plaza Hotel, The Maidstone and Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House, among others), adds, “I am here to support Karoline in any way that I can to make this bakery into something that leaves a long-lasting impression within the community and travelers alike.” Craving seconds?
